Fig is one of the most popular summer fruits of the Greek countryside. It is quite nutritional as it is rich in vitamins A and C as well as in calcium, potassium and magnesium.Last but not least, traditional sweet fruit preserves are the only sweets that contain no fat. That’s why they are suggested in low calorie diets.
During the production of our fruit preserve we follow a specific long term process to combine perfectly the fruit and the syrup. The syrup that we are using is original fruit syrup without artificial flavorings and colorings.
Packed in unique glass jars with whole fruits inside, without any broken pieces. This is due our careful selection which is made by hand.

Our online store is relatively new but we’ve been in business since 1952 – in fact the Athenian Grocery store is the oldest Greek deli in the UK. So, when we choose a product to sell we draw on over 60 years’ experience of eastern Mediterranean cuisine.
