Greek Vanilla Halva with Chocolate & Orange 

Mezap Halva from Thessaloniki in Greece is still made today as it was 100 years ago. Master-craftsmen combine sesame pulp with specially produced caramel ("agdas" - the second basic ingredient of halva) in purpose-made cauldrons. Other flavours/ingredients (eg. vanilla cocoa, almond, pistachio, etc) are carefully added, then the halva cools in special moulds. It is packed using state of the art equipment to guarantee freshness and taste. Over the years, Mezap has managed to blend development and modernization with the traditional, handmade way of producing halva, following their own secret recipe.
