If you have ever visited Cyprus or Greece then you have most probably tasted the famous 'Souvla' or 'Souvlaki'.

The traditional Greek/Cypriot BBQ cooks food by rotating the meat over charcoal on skewers or spits.

In Cyprus, almost every household owns a traditional style barbecue (as listed) and it is not uncommon for families to cook their food on these several times a week.

These barbeques are perfect for cooking pork, lamb or chicken.

• The skewers and spits are rotated by a 1.5v battery operated motor (supplied)
• The bbq tray / box can be filled with charcoal, briquettes or hard wood.

The box contents include:

• 1 x metal bbq tray / box (main body), made from 1.5mm thick steel (dimensions: 69.5 x 32.5 x 9 cm)
• 4 x steel legs (length 48cm)
• 1 x battery operated motor (batteries not included)*
• 3 x large skewers of 75cm including wooden handles (ideal for Souvla or chicken)
• 11 x small skewers of 45 cm including wooden handles (ideal for Souvlaki, kebabs, sausages)
• 1 x gear drive mechanism to rotate the large skewers
• 1 x gear drive mechanism to rotate the small skewers
• 1 x adjustable lever system (with wooden handles) for raising / lowering the large skewers
